Kids Connecting Parents is an Australian-developed App that offers emotional support to bereaved parents and carers and embraces all child loss from prenatal through to adult children. It offers a gentle, private space to connect locally with other parents who truly understand. Parents can search locally or worldwide, read parent profiles, and choose who and when to reach out. The App supports one-to-one and group connections, with the option to meet in person if comfortable. Designed to reduce feelings of isolation and encourage meaningful support, it is especially valuable in regional, rural, and remote areas where there is little to no face-to-face support services, or for parents who want to find and connect with other local parents in their area. The first month is free, giving you time to explore the App and find other’s nearby, then AUD $0.99c per month, with some non-means tested funding available to pay for the first five years.
